Our kiln-dried logs maintain their colour well, especially when kept indoors. Over many years, natural wood may mellow slightly in tone, but this only adds to their charm. Avoid direct sunlight if possible as this can increase colour changes faster. Avoid using softwood or pine as this discolours much more than hardwoods.

Maintenance is simple, just dust them occasionally with a soft cloth or brush. Avoid wet cleaning, as water can cause natural staining over time.

Our logs are designed for indoor use. Outdoor exposure to rain and moisture can cause natural discoloration and shorten their life. For outdoor décor, we recommend placing them in covered or sheltered spaces only.

The number of logs per box varies due to the natural variety of the product. Log diameters vary from 3-17cm.

Logs are sold by box size and dimensions refer to the total area covered with log rounds. We try to pack a visually pleasing mix for each box.

It doesn’t matter if the length is slightly different as the logs are presented using the ends. You can bring the logs forward for a flush finish, leaving a space behind which won’t be visible from the front. Alternatively stack the logs set back in a recess to desired position.

Yes Posh Logs are the best value for hardwood that is hand selected, cut and sanded for a premium effect. If comparing to other retailers make sure they are offering the same amount of logs for your area at the same quality. All our delivery costs are included in the price.

We only offer hardwood with superior grain, colour and WOW factor. Softwood or pine logs are less interesting and will discolour more over time. Also a well managed hardwood woodland is the best for nature and biodiversity and that’s what we do!

We use hardwoods only. Mainly Sweet Chestnut and Ash but sometimes a mix of Birch and Sycamore. These woods are interesting and have lighter, pale woody tones than many other species.

Yes we pride our business on sustainability. For every tree we cut we plant 10 more.

We pack each box with a variety of sizes to make a random collection. If you want small or big logs specifically just email us and we will try our best to accommodate your request.

All costs are included in the listed price. Delivery charges are included in every order so you plan your shopping knowing there will be no hidden or added costs. 

We aim to ship items 1-2 days business from ordering and use 24hr service with DPD. (During busy periods such as Christmas minor delays with deliveries may occur).

Use a tape measure and note the width and height of the space you want to fill. Place these dimensions into our calculator here to find out how many boxes required. Secondly measure the depth of the space and choose log a desired log length from the products. Don’t worry if your space is not exactly the same depth as the log length, you can stack them how you like in the space available.
